Mother
Write an essay defining a word that is important to you.
Mother
When someone asks, "What is the most important word for you?". The first thing that I think of is Mother, my Mother. People constantly saying that there is no such thing as perfect human being. But for me, my mother is.
Webster define mother as a female parent. But my mother is a lot more than a female parent. She is someone who is caring, loving and unlike other mother she is very understanding. Every time I have a problem I can come to her with my problems (if I have any). She will always help me in any way she can. Almost every word that comes out of her mouth is very understanding and wise. Every time she gives me an answer I am rarely confused but if I am, she will rephrase it in terms I can understand. One of the best traits that she has is when she is around people, not only me; she has a smile on her face ready to laugh. And she has a warm smile like the first morning rays that hit your face. She also the type of person who does not judge you by your appearance or what she sees but she usually gives her time to know you and see who you really are.
My mother has done so many things especially for us, her eight children. She made a lot of sacrifices. Ever since my oldest brother was born she strive to do what was best for her children. She made sure we had a roof over our heads, nice clothes to wear, and well education. Even now that we are grown up and capable of taking care of ourselves she still there to make sure that everything is all right.
My mom might have never been recognized as the best mother or given an award for it. But in her children's heart especially to me she is and nobody can compare to her. I think her greatest achievement in her life was us, her children. What we have become. She has showed us the right direction in life.
Thus, words are not enough to write why is...
