The telephone is the means of oral communication. The telephone technique is now used to send messages in writing,
pictures ,graphs and copies of documents but basically the telephone remains an instrument to reproduce speech at a distance through the medium of electric waves. The first instrument made by alexander bell in 1876 was very crude , but owing to constant improvements,conversation today over the telephone has become practically effortless. Moreover, we can send telephone messages over great distances and even across the oceans with the help of the submarine cables.
