I, like many others, believe that the government should follow up on President Clinton’s 1997 ban on federal funding for cloning research by placing a ban on all cloning practices. Experimentation with cloning is dangerous, unethical, and interferes with natural selection (“Cloning”). Contrary to belief, cloning is not a new topic. ... The resulting sheep was genetically identical to its mother therefore they were “delayed” genetic twins (“Cloning”). While the “Dolly” experiment was touted as a success by cloning activist the procedure was nowhere near perfect.
