When we concern ourselves with the study of history we become storytellers
In my opinion, the above mentioned statement is true because as soon as notable facts are written down, the individual point of view of the author becomes an element of the facts. There only can be a restricted amount of neutrality in history books. First of all, history depends on the viewpoint of the people who write down the historic facts, not the individuals that actually are involved in making history.
