human variation
This study questions the concept of race in anthropology and how it is used to study human variation. Kasycka and Strjkalj conducted a survey in Poland about attitudes of race in biological anthropologists. The concept seems to divide anthropologists in whether or not race should be used to distinguish differences in humans. The first research of race can be traced back to the 16th and 17th centuries. It wasn’t until the mid- 19th century that anthropology became a scientific displine.
