Pfizer is now one of the largest and most profitable drug and chemical companies. Making, in 2002, 32 billion dollars it is one of the largest pharmaceutical corporations in the market. This multinational corporation sprung from the minds of two entrepreneurs from German, Charles Pfizer and Charles Erhart. Charles Pfizer and Charles Erhart came from Germany in 1849 after borrowing 2,500 dollars from Charles Pfizer’s father. Taking a great risk these two gentlemen purchased a small brick building in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn. These two gentlemen had great vision and were willing to risk it all.
