The legend had said that before a boy from Candle Creek Village turned 18, he would have to travel to the Black Forest at noon of his 18th birthday. If the boy reached the center of the Black Forest, he would have been free and wouldn’t have to return to Candle Creek again. Sadly, if the boy fails, he must spend the rest of his life in Candle Creek. ... Slowly as years passed, the legend became a myth; villagers didn’t even bothered to challenge it and for those who did, never returned.
