Her face was wet. Tears were streaming down her face. Her hands were shaking as she grabbed a Tylenol bottle. She knew somehow in her heart that she had to end this life as soon as possible. She looked around to see if anyone was watching her. There was no one because she was all alone in her room. But, she felt as if someone was watching her very carefully. Every move that she was making, she felt like it wasn’t herself doing it. She spilled all the pills out of the bottle. ‘That’s it,’ she thought, ‘I will be finally free from everything.’ Although she thought that she would be free, she could not stop crying. She was scared. When she was about to put the pills into her mouth, a phone rang. She hesitated a little. But, then she decided to answer the phone. “Hello,” her voice seemed calm as she answered the phone, however under the calmness of her voice anyone could feel the tension and fear. “Hey, I think you need to come to talk to me,” it was her friend. She could not hold it any more. She started crying. As she was crying, she finally felt like herself again. Hearing her crying, he knew, it was the right thing that he got out in the middle of the class. She could not talk, but she was comforted that someone knew that she was going through something hard. A few minuets later, she went down to see him. They talked, talked about the deepest fear that she has in her heart. The fear was controlling her without her noticing it. It wasn’t her first time that she tried to commit suicide. And she knew that she had to do something about it. Or else, it will end up killing her. The next day, she went to talk to a counselor at the school. He welcomed her very warmly. After they both sat down, he started asking why she wanted to come see him. She hesitated a little, but she knew that she had to tell him, thinking, ‘he is a psychologist; he can probably tell me what I can do.’ She told him how she had an urge to commit suicide lately. He asked her why she felt that way. And she said, “I don’t know, maybe stress.” “Is there anyone whom you have a hard time forgiving?” he asked. She had to think about that question for a little while. Many people’s faces came up as she thought about ones who hurt her.
