Blue Gold Water is the most important resource in our world today. Without water, human civilization as we know it would not exist. However, in a world where human population increases everyday, the demand for fresh water will eventually increase to a point where supply cannot be met. This is a very important issue that defiantly needs more attention in our world today. Tony Clark made this a critical point in his speech today. Tony started off his speech by addressing the problem at hand: water depletion. He grabbed the audiences’ attention by stating frightening, yet significant facts. One fact that he stated was that 1.6 billion people in our world today don’t have access to clean water.
