Fourth of July in Louisville Kentucky Warm, sweet smelling air, flowing water in a river, smiling people everywhere, and big, beautiful colors filling the sky above the river. This is a traveling memory that can be the best medicine for a lost soul. The Fourth of July has always been a favorite holiday for me and to experience it Louisville style was magnificent. You see some of the nations best displays, in my opinion, and you are in southern hospitality. The whole event starts usually a day before the actual lighting of fireworks.
