Pros and Cons of Media Violence
As more and more of the media are being corrupted by the large amounts of acts of violence and profanity, I begin to muse about what the future will be like for my children. Almost every song and television show that I see or hear now have unnecessary and vulgar language or acts of violence. ... People say that the media should show the audience the "reality" of the world, but are these violent images truly realistic? ... Scripts and lyrics produced by most movie and song writers have been used so much, that the profanity in the media has almost become hackneyed. ... Adventure or horror movies have the same effect of violent television shows, but often take violence up a notch.
