Electric Guitars Vs Acoustic Guitars

In today's music world musicians play both electric and acoustic guitars. Which is better? Electric and acoustic guitars can be played the same, but they are very different. Most beginners choose an acoustic guitar over an electric because of its cost and portability.
Electric guitars are generally easier to play than acoustics because of their lighter strings. Electric guitars can be played with less effort because the amplifier produces the sound. The guitar itself produces the acoustic guitar's sound; therefore to be louder the musician must play with more effort. Electric guitars are custom to rock music; even though, they are played in a lot of today's country groups. Acoustic guitars symbolize country music but are also used by bands that play different types of music.
Electric guitars are generally heavier and thinner than acoustic guitars. Electric and acoustic guitars come in various shapes, sizes, and colors. Electric guitars range from black to spotted color. Acoustic guitars are mostly a naturally finish or sunburst color.
Electric guitars cost more than acoustic guitars because for an electric guitar to make sound it must be plugged into an amp. An electric guitar starter pack includes an amp, bag, guitar, and cables. An acoustic guitar starter only includes a guitar and a bag.
Electric guitars setup is more tedious than that of an acoustic. An acoustic guitar only has to be taken out of the bag or off the stand to be played. An electric guitar has to be taken out of the bag plugged in an amp and then the amp's controls have to be set. Acoustic guitars can be played sitting around campfires or on the beach. It would be quite difficult to drag extension cords through the woods are along the beach to be able to play an electric guitar. The setup of the electric guitar is one reason that it has lost popularity among beginning guitarists.
