What is this idea of Gender Equality? ... Is there really such a thing as “gender equality” as defined by society? Women seem to agree that there have been advances in the area of women’s equality in their lifetimes – but not enough to feel that society and the media view females as equal to males. ... ” According to the women I interviewed, females haven’t come as far as society would like them to believe they have in terms of equality between women and men. ...
