The Sisters, is about this boy who sees his friend, an old priest have a third stroke and now is paralyzed because of it. Every evening the boy walks past Father Flynn’s house, and thinking if he were to die then he would see candlelight in the window. But then one night he goes by there and an old family friend, Old Cotter tells him that Father Flynn had passed away. It was weird because the boy didn’t seem to have any reaction towards it. Then it’s weird because he has a dream about Father Flynn and that he makes some weird confession. The next day is when he felt strange in that the boy felt liberated that his friend had died. The boy is taken to see his body then the women drink some sherry and the old priest broke a chalice, disappeared and they found him laughing strangely to himself.
