“The Stolen Party” is an interesting example of how children are subjected to the societal divisions among different social classes that have been created and sustained since the beginning of time. ... At the end of the party, however, Rosaura is devastated when she comes to the realization that she was never invited to the party as a friend, but rather as the hired help. ...
