My Neighbor
It was Saturday around noon. The sun was very hot. I was sitting in my back yard facing the wooden fence that was missing two pieces of woods, which allowed me to view my neighbor’s back yard. From there, I could also see three men working on the roof of my house. By their facial expressions and the way they were touching the gutter, I knew it was almost impossible for them to repair it. They seemed to be dizzy. I guess they were not used to the heat. In order to escape from the heat, they stood side by side, squeezing themselves into a foot wide patch shaded area. There, they had a fine view of the back yard of my neighbor who usually wears almost nothing. She lay face down on a brown blanket, by her pool. They could see her black shoulder length hair, her relaxing body, her tan back and arm spread out.
