Innovation is vital for long-term corporate success, since businesses are rapidly changing. A good businessmen needs to harness the creative quotient in his/her staff, in order for the business to grow. There are five elements for creativity and innovation in business as stated by Jim Meler (Out of the Box). Each of the elements dealing with the customer since the business is ran by the customers’ money. Customer expectations are always rising. The Pace is accelerating. Continuous improvement is a must. Organizations know status quo products and services cannot and will not keep pace with increasing customer expectations.
