risk assessment
III RISK ASSESSMENT, CREATING A PLAN FIRES: One major element to consider before our plan was developed was the exiting policies. Currently the Bridgeview complex had very little plans or policies in place. If there were a plan or policy in place no one knew about. The current evacuation plan in place was the one placed on the wall showing you were the exits are on each floor. It was a small 8 ½ x 11 inch faded paper placed in various locations on each floor. The fire safety plan was the same as the evacuation plan. Safety and health programs, security procedures, environmental policies, and building closing policies were nonexistent. The only real solid plans and policies in place were the mutual aid agreements. These mutual aid agreements refer to fire and police response to an emergency.
