Unlike the movies, the book of Exodus gives little information on Moses’ young life. ... The Egyptian mother of Moses, being a daughter of the Pharaoh, certain beliefs can be implied. That Moses would have been well educated for that time period. ... That Moses would have a certain status as an Egyptian would be afforded to him. ... If we are to believe that Moses was considered an Egyptian Prince (as the title of a movie), why was he unable to approach the sitting Pharaoh? I question the position held by our entertainment industry, that Moses was considered a Prince. To the sitting Pharaoh, Moses was an adopted child to one of his daughters, nothing more.
