Trouble with Parking on Northwestern Campus This year at Northwestern it has been especially hard to find a parking spot. It does not matter if you live on campus or off campus; it is still hard to find a parking spot. I personally live on campus, and if you leave your parking spot sometime during the morning, it will be taken shortly. It will be taken from the rush of people trying to find a parking spot and get to class on time. There are many reasons why parking is such a problem on Northwestern’s campus. There is a higher enrollment, there are not as many parking spot as parking permits, the parking lots are not set up in a good manner, and the campus police are not being reasonable on the tickets issued. ... At the beginning of the year when you pay fees, you receive a parking permit.
