Gottfried and Kant
Philosophers Gottfried Leibniz and Immanuel Kant have similar views concerning human sensory and its correlation to the knowledge in our world. ... Immanuel Kant’s Critique of Pure Reason, was in part an attempt to resolve some of the tension beginning to arise in the world of philosophy between the rational and empiricist views. ... But Kant does not take a rationalist view on things as Leibniz did. ... Kant derives a new theory by fusing these two approaches. ... The second part of Kant’s theory is a posteriori, which is knowledge found or derived through experience. Both parts of Kant’s theory require the senses that we as humans have to govern all of our observations and conclusions.
