Teacher and Tenure, Is it that Good? The proposed question is if tenure is the best for the teaching teacher. Teacher tenure is the one of the reasons that most teachers have to look forward to. Tenure is a status granted after a trial period to a teacher that gives protection from being dismissed. (Webster Dictionary) Tenure can be a good protection for the teachers that have taught well and even the bad teachers has this protection. Teachers that work toward their tenure has a job ahead of them. Teachers Efforts Almost every teacher spends countless hours working to make their classroom experience more challenging, more exciting, more interesting and fun for their kids. ... I had interviewed two prominent teachers that are working in their tenure with the school systems. Another teacher that I had interviewed is know between jobs and always says “Get that Tenure.” She said that tenure is important to a teacher for a job that won’t be taken away from you with out a real good cause and the cause has to be backed up or the school has no probable cause for dismissing you.
