Brown Sugar
Last weekend was the release of Brown Sugar, a new Magic Johnson Entertainment joint. The movie starred Sanaa Lathan, Taye Diggs, Mos Def and Queen Latifah. This movies, barring the obvious technical deficiencies, could very well have been one of the better hip hop movies that I have ever seen. From beginning to end there was constant drama delicately interwoven with the right mix of comedy.
