SCENE ONE It is 6:30 on a Friday afternoon. Tyler and Carve are warming down after their football practise by jogging laps around their school oval. Carve: So tell me buddy, why no mention of Brendan lately? Tyler: What’s there to say? Carve: Well, for the past six months there’s always been something to give details about. [looks at Tyler and grins] Tyler: [laughs jovially] You’re one to talk—What ever happened to Steph? Carve: You mean the same Steph who’s sitting over there with her friend’s staring at you?
