This novel follows the life of Miles Davis from childhood to a Jazz legend, however a friend of Miles who knew him personally and shared a special experience with the famous jazz trumpet player wrote this novel, this man is known as Quincy Troupe. Miles Davis handpicked Quincy Troupe a well-known author and poet to write his biography. ... The novel opens up in Saint Louis where Quincy and Miles both grew up.
