... The Persian Gulf War, fought January 16 to February 28 of 1991, was fought to banish Iraq and bring forth freedom to the Kuwaiti people. This war was important because it brought about much advancement in our weaponry used in battle. The Persian Gulf War impacted the United States because it forced the whole world to confront Iraq in a battle for morale, business, peace, and morale. The most significant impact the Persian Gulf War had on America was the effect it had on the United States’ morale.
