French
Why does everyone hate the French? I maintain it is because they want to be like the U.S. Think about it, with out us they would be speaking German or be taken over by any of the other countries that think that they are weak. Unfortunately the U.S keeps coming back and protecting them. The French want to protect another country. We have continuously helped the French and when we want some support not like theirs means anything to us they will not help us. Now they want to help now that the "messy part" is done, they want to cooperate and help re-build Iraq.
However, not all French are as evil as the stereotype. I have met many nice French, but the country as a whole needs to work on their image. And showering may be a good start -- which is a joke. The French should not send over their "village idiots" here, but their nice, kind population, I know that are a few of them. They have been compared to the "blondes" because of all of the jokes surrounding and centering them.
On the other hand I wish people would stop making fun of the French. That is just their culture. Just because their government makes a few poor decisions does not make the general population stupid. Just as the U.S. have a few politicians fall into the "Duh" category. Hopefully the French can realize that they have some major repair work to do in foreign nations, just like we do. They have a lot to offer but they will not give it up.
