Montagu Montagu, troubled by the “race dilemma” that plagued anthropologist and historian’s during his time, incorporated a non biased expose on race and its entitlements. Montagu undrapes the phenotypic barriers that have cloaked the minds of his former and present aristocratic colleagues. Montagu, unnerved by the old nineteenth century outlook on race, wanted to expose the indifference that surrounded racism at the time. I find myself in a general disagreement with Montagu’s writing. ... Traits such as greed and racism, Montagu says, is a learned behavior, taught by example throughout the ages. ... Montagu describes in detail the fallacies of myths and it’s consequences on differing cultures and races. ... Montagu goes on to compare imperialistic nations to kleptomania.
