The abuse and distribution of OxyContin has become prevalent over the past few years on the Kenai Peninsula. The affects the peninsula has sustained from this drug may seem minimal to many, but the misuse of OxyContin has added to the degradation of life on the Kenai Peninsula and in other societies all over the United States. As new of a drug OxyContin may seem, it hasn’t taken long for dealers to figure out that they can make a decent sum of money per month selling this precarious, but useful when used under the correct circumstances, little pain pill.
