Policing without Interfering
There are many forms of art including theater, music, dance, painting, architecture, and every day activities. ...
The government should have strict limitation on the extent of their enforcement of the arts. ... This type of governmental policing should be enforced but limited to the restrictions that are already in place so that it doesn’t interfere with the expression of the artist. ... This is a form of policing that doesn’t prevent the artist from expressing themselves but also ensures that the well-being of all individuals are being considered. Policing the arts does not mean complete restriction. ... I disagree on policing so strongly that it effects performance. ... Policing the arts protects individuals that do not or should not view certain artistic expressions. ...
I believe that most people understand and agree with the level of governmental policing of the arts, although they may not realize that this is what’s happening.
