Drama Ministry

Drama only happens in a theater filled with seats, lights, actors, and props. In my life, I have been influenced with different events and certain moments; but mainly, my life changes have taken place in drama. I started drama my freshmen year of high school when I auditioned for a play called “The Man Who Came to Dinner”. ... It was not until “Godspell” though, that I realized theatre was what I wanted to do for a career; and at the same time use drama to minister to others. ... It was not until opening night anyway, that I realized drama could be used for such an effective purpose. ... It was at this point that I knew that drama was not only entertainment, but could be utilized as a ministry to reach others effectively.
Through this experience, I found a way to tie my passion for theatre and ministry together.
