credential multicultural
Multicultural Interviews I was given an assignment to interview two people from a school, and ask them multicultural questions. I interviewed Dana Joines and Priscilla Parhms from Pueblo Elementary. As I first walked up to the school I realized that there were also other schools right next to it. I also noticed that it was predominately Hispanic. As I looked around at the staff, I saw many different ethnic groups. As I walked down the hallways I saw on the bulletin boards and in the classrooms many different cultural views. In this paper I hope to explain the answers and the way that Dana and Priscilla feel about their school. They first started out by giving me a little background about the school. Pueblo Elementary is an overflow school. Which means that when all the other schools get filled up and have no more room the students that have not registered yet will be sent to Pueblo. Both Dana and Priscilla expressed their concerns regarding this manner. They both said it makes it difficult because some kids might live ten to fifteen miles away from school. They said how hard it is sometimes for kids to get to school.
