reflection to the movie blow
“Sometimes your flush , and sometimes your bust, and when your up its never as good as it seems, and when your down you never think your gonna be up again” Ray Liota’s character couldn’t of summed the movie BLOW any better that this. After watching this movie I have noticed many themes, and instances that applied to myself, and really fully understood why I was to write this paper for judicial affairs. There were many themes and underlying messages in the movie which brought about many emotions while viewing it. ... Finally I noticed though the movie didn’t come right out and say it, but the idea that Marijuana is a gateway drug. ... Many emotions were going through my head while viewing this movie. ... Also they made trying cocaine seem like it’s the God of all drugs, and quite honestly after watching it, one might be tempted to go out and try it, because of the way it was presented in the movie. I also felt for George because in some instances of the movie when he went back to his parents, that must have been hard for him. To face his parents when they know that he was a big time Drug dealer, and even more so he was in a way responsible for all the teenagers, and movie stars using in the USA. ... In the end “Blow” has changed my view point on drugs completely, never before did I honestly think of what my actions could bring upon myself.
