To Wear Uniforms or not to wear Uniforms
To wear uniforms in school has been a topic of debate for nearly half a century, and it still causes an issue today. I believe that we shouldnt have to be forced to wear uniforms, so that we can express ourselves freely. I believe that it is what our country is based on, freedom, and not to have it would deteriorate a schools individuality and creativity. School officials, however, say that uniforms have been proven statistically to reduce crimes, fights and distractions. I feel that some of these issues cant be avoided, no matter what they wear, and that a simple dress code would be adequate. School officials say that uniforms can reduce crimes, fights and distractions. In School Uniforms are Miracle Workers, it says that uniforms help reduce harassment such as making fun of someone’s clothes (Natalie J.
