Simulation Technology

Aviation Simulation Technology is another huge depression in the simulator training world. For many years now pilots have been trained in flight simulators simply because they replicate the real world so well. In simulated operations new pilots acquire skills, and experienced pilots maintain their proficiency without the need of real flying which saves time and money. We can also experience this in our own homes on our computers with programmes such as Microsoft’s ‘FlightSim2000’. This programme although only on your computer screen allows you to make a flight from anywhere to anywhere in the world just by downloading from the net or buying from a shop the landscape needed to fly from or to. For example, it is possible to buy Scotland. This would include Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and all that’s in-between. The plane can be flown according to a real aircraft with all the knobs, lights and screens making the whole experience very life-like. The expanding world of simulator technologies does not just stop at planes. Other forms of training can be pursued using the same kind of technology for example, parachuting or helping to build aircraft.
