On the afternoon of 12th of February 1993, a young boy was reported missing by his mother from a shopping centre in Liverpool. ... The boy was later identified as Jamie Bulger. ... This sparked off a national outrage in the hunt for Jamie’s killer or killers. ... It was later decided on in court that Robert Thompson and Jon Venables had kidnapped and murdered 3 year old Jamie Bulger. In this report I will present and discuss the key question as to whether Robert and Jon set out to kill Jamie or whether it was simply a game that had got out of hand. ... He was moved school to where he met Robert Thompson, this was six months before killing Jamie Bulger.
