Casablanca
The film, “Casablanca,” shows similarities between Rick Blaine and the American mentality. At first Rick only cared about himself and didn’t want to get entangled with other people’s problems just as America wanted to stick to itself after WWI and the Depression. However, Rick begins to change and eventualy helps others. The Americans also began to help others as they joined WWII. In 1935, Rick supplied guns to the Ethiopians.
