Affordable housing is a crucial social setting in America today. ... Affordable Housing come is in many shapes and forms in America, form apartments in New York City to the mobile home parks in Texas, but all seem to have a common goal in mind; to provide affordable and comfortable living conditions for lower income families. One type of housing project that I would like to focus on are projects like Habitat for Humanity.
Affordable housing in low-income neighborhoods is a subject that I am familiar with; I grew up in a low-income area in Saginaw, MI. ... I remember feeling embarrassed of my house when I saw my other friend’s houses and by the research I have done I can tell that affordable housing has come a long way since the one I lived in.
I think that it’s obvious who the intended residents are for these types of housing projects.
