Prayer in School
I believe strongly that all children should be able to praise, pray, and speak of God in school, but they should not be forced. I realize that religion within the school tends to be a controversial issue. ... I think when you tell children that any type of prayer or religion is not allowed in school, that you are going against ideas that they have already been taught. ... I spoke with teachers from Danville High School. ... The schools do not allow prayer in school for any type of religion because it is said to offend students. ... This would allow prayer back into our schools. ... The research and new ideas I saw still lead me to believe that prayer should be allowed in our public schools. There is a neutral point to find, and a right way to possibly limit prayer yet still allow it.
