All pro football players have that certain piece of equipment that they have had for years,worn to tons of games and are crazy about it. When it comes to getting a new piece of equipment they are usually less than excited.Riddell,one of the top makers for NFL gear has introduced a new helmet that may help to prolong a football player's career.So many great players have been lost in their prime after suffering too many head injuries.The new technology in these helmets may eliminate that.The helmets have been tested by a few players and the results have varied.Some players enjoyed the helmet saying that "it felt like having a pillow in there" to "it's too bulky and limits my vision." Like it or not this type of technology may help some athletes to prolong their careers.The helmet is still being tested in games and researchers are hoping to soon have all players wearing these helmets, mainly for safety reasons.
