Technology kills mans ethics

According to Oxford Advanced Learners Dictionary, technology is defined as “scientific study and use of mechanical arts and applied sciences” whereby ethics, is defined as “system of moral principles or rules of conduct”. ... Granted, it has been a controversial issue over the centuries as in whether advancement of technology brings about more harm than good. I strongly agree with the statement that “Technology Kills Man’s Ethics” because it may overlook the intrinsic worth of life, encourages some people to carry the intention of harming or even killing the others and devastates man’s attitude of respect for nature. Firstly, technology kills man’s ethics as it disregards the value of human life. ... Firstly, cloning technology is at its early development which brings about a high failure rate. ... Therefore, such technology is most likely to demolish man’s ethics. Also, it is unethical for humans to play God to clone babies using technology as it is against the law of nature. Therefore, technology as such may overlook the intrinsic worth of life, thus causing the loss of man’s ethics. Secondly, people might misuse the advancement of technology to achieve their own immoral purposes. Nowadays, biological warfare is more of a threat to mankind rather than ordinary warfare as the new technology provides various means for the terrorist to launch an attack. ... Instead of using the technology wisely to enhance the standard of living, it is rather unethical for the mankind to abuse it that could most probably result in a massacre. Thus, technology indeed demolishes man’s ethics as it encourages some people to carry the intention of harming or even killing the others.
