Leonardo Da Vinci arranged all twelve disciples into groups of three and tied all the groups together through their hand motions giving this paint a symmetrically aesthetic feeling, while Tintoretto renounced the symmetry and geometric clarity of Leonardo's composition. Leonardo's study of mathematics can be seen in his work, which we don’t see in Tintoretto’s work.
