Love
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perceivers. Love never fails." The passage from the bible in 1 Corinthians is one of the best verses to describe what love is.
People show other people their love for them in different ways, but what is the real meaning of love? What are the different kinds of love? For example, Loving your mother is different that loving your boyfriend/girlfriend. It has been said to love your neighbor as yourself, but it is sometimes difficult to love someone that is hurtful and envious toward you.
Love can mean many different things. For instance, the love between mother and child is a special and unique bond. It is an unconditional love that is carried or throughout a life time. A new mother has so much joy and love for her newborn baby. However, the love between a boyfriend and girlfriend is only the beginning stages for the love to be shared between a husband and wife. They are the same kind of romantic love but one is stronger than the other ever will be. Another type of love is the love shared between brother and sister, despite sibling rivalry, it is a love based on friendship, mutual
respect, as well as a shared love for their parents. It might not seem like it all the time, but it is always there.
Love does not always have to be for a person, there are many people that love material things. People have love for their cars, pets, house, church, and all the material possessions of every day life. But you have to love something you have or else you will not take care of it and take it for granted.
