Claudiuss actions turned him into a cruel Hamlet- one who abused Ophelia, killed Polonius, mistreated his mother and attempted to slain Rosencrantz and Guildenstern. But not only did Hamlet want revenge for the love ones he lost, he had personal ambition as well. Claudius disabled Hamlet’s advancement to the thrown. ... There was obviously stable reasons for motivation, but why did Hamlet delay then?
