9) Analyse how the organisational structure, culture and management style interrelate within the Body Shop and evaluate their impact and that of ICT on the performance of the Body Shop. There is a strong relationship between the culture of the Body Shop and the organisational structure. The business is decentralised therefore creating a culture where there is greater power given to the different stores and regional centres allowing team efforts involving staff, and giving the management style a more democratic and consultative style. This will give staff more sense of responsibility and should encourage staff to perform well to achieve high standards and sales. This is a very different to a “Tall” organisational structure where greater power is given to senior figures in the management and not a lot of time goes into the views of their employees.
