The Interpreter
In the novel, The Interpreter, by Robert Moss, many themes are used. One of the themes with the most significant usage is visions and dreams. Throughout the novel, many characters have visions and dreams about their future. One vision in this book is the visions that the woman sees while talking to Conrad. She brings up his mother and his father’s mistress. The gypsy told Conrad that his mother was by the door of the room and that she loved him very much. She also said how his mother didn’t want to leave and that she was with him ever since she left. The gypsy told Conrad that his mother had some unfinished business. The woman then brought up the name Gretel.
