The Contender
Plot: Alfred Brooks is a high school drop out who works at a grocery store. At this point in his life he is going nowhere. His friends decide they are going to rob the grocery store where he works at to fund their drug addiction. Alfred insists on not doing it, so he doesn’t participate. He realizes that his grocery store installed a new alarm system. Alfred’s friend James is caught by the police, but James hoodlums return the favor by giving Alfred a beating.
