A: Good morning, everyone. Welcome to our program ¡§Hong Kong Today¡¨. Hong Kong is one of the world's busiest cities. People are used to fast food and lack exercise. However, Hong Kong people are becoming more concerned about their health. Some of them decide to be vegetarians. Today, we invite Sandy, a young vegetarian to be our guest and talk about her experience. A: Sandy, I know you're now sixteen, so when did you go vegetarian? B: Well, this gets a little complicated. When I was about eleven I stopped eating beef. Soon after, I eliminated all red meat from my diet, and about a year and a half ago, I stopped eating all other meat. A: So you've been a vegetarian for a year and a half? B: Exactly. A: But why you stopped eating meat? It's because you believe in animal rights or you feel that it's a much healthier life style? B: Ar ...actually, I had never been a very big meat eater. I was always the one that would get an apple pie while the rest of the family would order hamburgers at a restaurant. A: I see... but why you decide to be a vegetarian?
