The Development of Racism in United States Societies
The world is always evolving. With new discoveries or tragic endings, the human race continuously strives to modify according to current transformations. Michael Omi and Howard Winant’s work, Racial Transformation in the United States attempts to discuss the “significance of race, and the way race structures society and its change over time” (Omi and Winant, 75). According to Omi and Winant, racial formation is always historically situated and contemporary racial order remains transient.
