Creationism should not be taught in Public Schools

OUTLINE
Creationism, the religious belief that life on this planet was created by a special, unique act of God, should not be taught in Public Schools. Creationism should not be taught in public schools, because it brings religion into public schools and forces people to learn about religious beliefs. We don't really know the truth. It could affect other people's families. Not everyone believes the theory of creationism, it is not a proven fact and it is very controversial.

II. Not everyone believes the theory
A. 47% believe in creation. 49% believe in evolution.
B. Only about half of America believes in one hypothesis.
C. God made all of the earth and life on earth. .
III. It is not a proven fact
A. It says creation or evolution cannot be proven scientifically
B. It also says that faith will make you believe that God created the heavens and the earth
C. The bible describes creation but the bible does not have proven facts. Earth was formless and dark and God said, "let there by light".
IV. It is also very controversial
A. God made the universe over 10,000 years ago
B. Some people think that this world is a billion years old
C. Earth and everything was made but life forms and species then God finished the rest.
V. Conclusion
